The Executive Committee of ASUGAS extends its appreciation for your financial support and presence during the celebration dinner hosted in
honour of Ms. Winnie Byanyima upon her recent election to head the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), at Hotel
Intercontinental.
Your kind participation gave us a great opportunity to share our efforts, endless pleasure and encouragement to move ASUGAS to the next
level. We were delighted to see a great section the “La crème de la crème” of Uganda enjoy themselves in the way not seen of recent. You
showed true colours of being Ugandan, enjoying together the elevation of our own compatriot to a high office. ASUGAS is proud to have hosted
you all to this auspicious occasion.
May we also take this opportunity to thank Ms. Winnie Byanyima for honouring the invitation and sharing her limelight with us in a way
that brought us so much pride. Special thanks also go the Permanent Mission of Uganda for supporting the event. We look forward to continuing excellent relations of cooperation especially considering the Ambassador’s role as the Patron of ASUGAS.
